Booms are encased in a poly sleeve and a poly net, with a rope running the length of each boom (for stability when taut). They link together, forming an absorbing barrier. Use light duty booms on still or slow moving water, or use heavy duty booms on moving water and light currents. Pads, rolls, and sweeps are used in conjunction with absorbent booms.
