Fiberweb's manufacturing capabilities: Two 3.2-meter spunbond machines, one 1.9-meter meltblown machine, and one 2-meter meltblown machine. Both meltblown lines are fully automated, which includes extrusion, fiber collection, thermal bonding, machine and across-direction perforating, sheeting, stacking, and winding. The extrusion components were manufactured by Reifenhauser GmbH, the German manufacturer of the highest quality nonwoven lines in the world.
Export Only Unit: Fiberweb is an EOU, which is a manufacturer in India that commits to exporting its entire production. EOUs are allowed to import raw materials and capital goods duty-free, significantly reducing production costs. They are also eligible for various tax benefits, including exemptions from customs duties and other taxes on imports. EOUs often enjoy faster clearance procedures for imports and exports.
