Standard meltblown polypropylene pads are primarily used to absorb oil spills off of the surface of water. The open fiber texture quickly attracts hydrocarbon-based fluids while repelling water. This media absorbs up to 15x its weight  (rate depends on the fluids absorbed). Oil spill pads are used in conjunction with rolls, booms, and sometimes with sweep. Choose the density required for your particular application. These products are not perforated or bonded.
