UNIVERSAL SORBENTS

Universal products absorb non-aggressive fluids, including oil, water, coolants, and solvents. The average absorption rate is roughly 15 times their dry weight in spilled fluids. The configurations are pads/mats, rolls, socks, pillows, drum top mats, and booms. These products are typically deployed in manufacturing/production facilities for everyday general maintenance and MRO applications.

FMF pads (gray)

Fine fiber meltblown polypropylene composites have a soft microfiber membrane on both sides of the pad. They grip many surfaces when saturated, and they also remove the sheen from your floors. The microfiber membranes quickly wick up fluids and draw them into the fluffy center layer.

bonded pads (gray)

Point bonded meltblown polypropylene sorbents have an open fiber construction that draws in high viscosity fluids. Bond points tie down loose fibers. Bonded pads are great for all maintenance applications to absorb oil, water, coolants, solvents, and many more non-aggressive fluids.

SMS pads (gray)

Spunbond polypropylene membranes are smooth, durable, and abrasion-resistant. They withstand wear and tear, and they are great for wiping down greasy tools and equipment. The lofty meltblown polypropylene center layer is highly absorbent and wicks up fluids quickly.

SMF pads (green)

Spunbond/Meltblown/Fine Fiber pads are our highest quality nonwoven composites. The spunbond side is smooth and abrasion-resistant, which is great for wiping applications. The fine fiber (microfiber) side has a gripping characteristic when saturated and removes the sheen from most surfaces.

Spunbond/Meltblown polypropylene composite is a dual-textured product. The spunbond polypropylene side is durable, abrasion-resistant, and great for wiping. The meltblown polypropylene side has an open fiber construction for absorbing viscous fluids. Use SM for both oil spill applications and for MRO applications.

Drum toppers are round pads that fit on top of 55 gallon drums and catch the inevitable drips after pumping. Each pad has two bungholes for pumping and for filling.

Slip hazard mats replace slip hazard signs, mops, and mop buckets. They warn of hazards while absorbing the spilled fluids. These versatile sorbents are great for well-trafficked walkways or for use as a general maintenance pad. The high-visibility yellow color is very noticeable.

Floor Guard drip mats absorb drips and prevent the fluids from leaching through to your floors. Use Floor Guard under vehicles, forklifts, machinery, horizontal drums, or leaky roofs. Floor Guard is available in two sizes: 30 x 30" or 15 x 18"

Socks surround and contain spilled fluids, prevent them from running out into walkways, and absorb the spilled fluids. Universal socks absorb most non-aggressive fluids (NOT for use with aggressive chemicals, such as acids and bases).

booms (gray)

Universal booms are encased in a poly sleeve and a poly net, with a rope running the length of each boom (for stability when taut). They link together, forming an absorbing barrier (NOT for use with aggressive chemicals, such as acids and bases).
