These universal absorbent pads are point bonded to tie down loose fibers. The open fiber construction allows for quick absorption of high viscosity fluids. Use these economical sorbents for most of your maintenance repair and operations applications. They absorb oil, water, coolants, and solvents. specialty compositions:
composites are available with printed spunbond pp, as well as polyethylene film backing to prevent leaching through to the surface beneath it.
Our absorbent composites range in density from as low as 130 gsm to as high 700 gsm, (grams per square meter) although our standard range is between 150 and 400 gsm. Three layer composites tend to be on the higher end of the range, as the center layer represents a lower percentage of the overall unit in comparison to single-ply and two-layer composites.
