With that said, there are various methods for disposal, including landfill, incineration, and recycling/reuse (centrifuge, washing, and and/or wringing).

Oil-select socks are tubular absorbents, available in various lengths, that are great for surrounding drums and machinery to contain and absorb hydrocarbon-based fluids (oil, water, gasoline, diesel, etc) while repelling water. Filled with shredded post-industrial fiber waste, fluid penetrates one section and spreads throughout the length of the sock.
